Eagles Flying Sligo
At Eagles Flying Sligo shows you can experience the masters of the sky flying right over your head…
One of Sligo’s most popular family attractions is the Eagle’s Flying at The Irish Raptor Research Centre in Ballymote just a 40 minute drive from Ocean Heights.
The centre is a scientifically managed sanctuary for Birds of Prey and Owls situated on 27 hectares, and is home to about 350 birds and animals out of 75 species.
The Eagles Flying Show at the centre is both fun and educational for the whole family! During the highly entertaining and interactive Bird Shows you can experience Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, Vultures and Owls swooping right over your head or landing next to you.
The scientists on hand present information on each of the birds and raptors in general and if you ever had a question about a bird of prey you just have to ask.
The sanctuary is open for bird shows from 1st April – 7th November with shows starting a 11am & 3pm daily. Admission is €9.90 for adults and €5.90 for children with special rates also available for families and groups. Visit Eagles Flying for more information.
